The vision of Trailside Chapel is to be a safe haven for young people and adults and to offer hospitality and the love of Jesus to those who cross our doorsteps. We can’t do this on our own. Through the generosity of volunteers and donors, we believe this camp will grow and continue to be a place of refreshment and restoration. Our goal is to grow our facility so we can accomodate more people at one time. Maybe in some way, whether big or small, you can become a part of that dream.
Next Steps
-
Sleeping Pods
We need more places for people to sleep, We are hoping to build 3 new sleeping pods by next summer and possibly another bunkhouse. We are looking for discounted, reclaimed or donated building materials.
-
Storage Trailer
If you know anyone who has a large storage trailer they would be willing to donate, we could really use it to store extra chairs and miscellaneous supplies.
-
Outdoor Kitchen / Grilling Area
We will eventually be building an outdoor grilling and kitchen station for our guests so they can relax and enjoy an outdoor meal experience.
-
Well / Drainfield / Bath Facilities
As our campus grows, we will need to add an additional drainfield, well and 2 more bathroom facilities to accommodate larger groups of people.

-
Donate
Donations will go toward building more sleeping quarters and growing the campus facilities. Also, donations will fund camp experiences for disadvantaged youth at a free or discounted rate.
-
Building Materials
If you have extra building materials or would like to purchase and donate materials, they will be used to build additional sleeping pods.
-
Outdoor Kitchen
If you can donate or have access to a discounted large group-sized grill and smoker, we will be adding an outdoor kitchen to our facility to better serve our guests. Or perhaps you know of some brick /stone resources that can be used to design the outdoor kitchen area.
-
Volunteer
A great way to support our vision is for you or your group to donate time to our building or campus maintenance projects. There’s always work to be done as we’re growing our campus outreach.
